I cannot recommend Glenmore Alterations enough! Georgetta was such a pleasure to work with. I bought a dress off the rack in Dallas TX and by the time I needed to alter it I had lost 35 pounds (baby weight haha). Georgetta worked miracles as the dress needed a lot of work in order for it to fit. She recommended we switch the zipper to a corset back, which turned out better then I could have dreamed. Georgetta came highly recommend from friends as the best seamstress for my wedding dress and she absolutely lived up to the hype. She is exceptionally friendly, warm, and most importantly, talented in her craft! I bought my wedding dress from a sample sale and it was at least 4x bigger than my size. Georgetta reassured me that it was no problem for her and expertly worked to make the dress fit me perfectly. I had the waist taken in, cups added, and length shortened. Based on Georgetta’s recommendation, she created a stunning pleated train at the back which also did not require a bustle. She also worked her magic in shaping the dress to a perfect subtle mermaid gown. To top if all off, she fulfilled my dream of having a custom hair bow by creating one from the excess material of my dress. Cannot recommend enough!

She always made me feel so confident that it would all work out. 10 days before my wedding, I went back for my second alteration and I had lost quit a bit of weight due too pre wedding stress.
